Amy Gaudie, Owner and Creative Director of award-winning Urban Chic Salon in Ashgrove, has been crowned the 2020 Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFAs) QLD Hairdresser of the Year.
On Sunday 8th November, over 300 of the hairdressing industry elite from Sydney (with thousands watching the livestream online due to COVID) gathered at Luna Park for the highly anticipated gala event – the first in the world for 2020 - where Amy was virtually handed her award, with another 25 awards given to the best hairdressers, salon teams, hair fashion videos and hair products in Australia.
Amy’s award-winning collection, EPOCHAL, was inspired by a desire to interpret traditional shapes and transform them into hair art, creating an influential moment in hair.
